SharePoint – Size of Web Site or Folder (Easy Way)

Ok, this is painfully easy.  Setup a Network Place in Windows Explorer, browse to the web site or folder in question, right-click -> Properties.

Duh!!  Sometimes the solution is literally staring you in the face!  Thanks to Kelly Ballard for pointing this one out.

  1. Hi Stuart,
Just an FYI, getting the properties on a “network place” (particularly an SP website) does NOT always provide you with the size. All too often the only properties which appears for the website itself are its Name, Created, and Target metadata fields.
    😐
    No “Size”, I’m afraid.

Any way to GUARANTEE finding the size of a SharePoint website?
